Q. How do I use Smart PSP Converter?
A. Start Smart PSP Converter. On the "Convert Manager" tab click the
"Browse" button to select the video files you need to convert. You
can select more than one files on this step for batch conversion.
Click the "Convert and Transfer" button to convert the files to the
specific PSP file format and transfer them to your PSP in one step.
To do this your PSP should be connected to your computer.
Q. How do I connect my PSP to my computer? (Step by step)
1. Connect a USB cable to the PSP and a PC
2. Select (USB Connection) under from the home menu and then press
the menu.
3. The PSP image on the main window of Smart PSP Converter will
light green.

Q. What memory do I need in order to store my videos on my PSP?
A. For this, you need to use the 'Memory Stick Duo', which is
normally provided with your PSP, but in case it is not, you can
easily buy one from the market. Memory Stick Duo is available in
different configurations such as 32MB, 64MB, 128MB, 256MB, 512MB,
1GB and 2GB. You can select anyone of these based on your needs.
Q. Can I convert my files and store them to my computer for later use?
A. Yes, you can. Click "Select output folder" to select the folder
on your hard drive where converted files will be stored and then
click the "Convert" button. Later to transfer these converted files
to the PSP use the Transfer Manager.
Q. I have stored my files to my computer. How do I copy them to my PSP?
A. Start Smart PSP Converter and go to the "Transfer Manager" tab.
in the right panel you'll see what video files are stored on your
PSP. In the left panel you'll see the files on your hard drive.
Now select the files you want to transfer from the left panel and
click the "Transfer" button. You can also drag the files to the
right panel and drop them there. Smart PSP Converter will
automatically rename the files after the Sony PSP naming convenstion
and place them in the proper PSP place so that the PSP can recognise
and play them.
Q. Some thumbnails of the PSP video files are black. Why?
A. This is because the thumbnails image is by default the first
frame captured from your video file, which might sometimes be black.
To change the thumbnail, go to the "Transfer Manager" tab, move the
slider of the preview panel to select a new frame and then click
"Change Thumbnail".

Q. How is the trial version different than the full?
A. The trail version converts only half of the input video file.
